I've managed to scrape together a more or less workable DOS system from a 486 IBM computer and a strange videocard/monitor that claims to be some sort of EGA but only displays graphics properly when I tell the computer it's a CGA display. It's been so long since I've dealth with CGA that I no longer remember if Arachne can handle this type of display - the system requirements on the Arachne page list EGA or higher, but in the history.txt file, CGA is mentioned a few times... Can anyone clarify, or offer any useful advice about installing and running Arachne on this peculiar little system?
