Hello Neil:

We know about this. The problem is not as serious as you might think
because we have answers and we have work-arounds.

This problem is due to a known bug in Arachne and it has been discussed
on the list many times before.

If you address and compose a message by using Arachne's built-in editor,
and then you save the message to the outbox, the CC addresses will appear
when the TBS file is viewed from DOS shell. After you send the message the
CC address will appear when you view the SNT file from the DOS shell. If
you use Arachne to view or edit the message in your outbox before sending
it, then the CC addresses will not appear. The CC addresses will likewise
not appear if you use Arachne to view messages in your "Sent" folder.

A suggested work-around to be resorted to until the bug is fixed:

Shell to DOS and use only an external file viewer or editor to view or
edit any message having a CC address. Don't use Arachne's built-in editor
for this purpose. If you do, you will screw things up. You won't harm
your Arachne setup or configuration in any way, but you will mess up the
CC recipient header in your message. Try performing some simple tests and
see for yourself. You will learn more about the bug this way and you will
figure out good ways to work around it.

All the best,

Sam Heywood
