Speaking of EPPPD

This has been on the list before, but I can't recall what we found out:

The version of EPPPD that comes with Arachne is one day older, and a bit
larger, than the version available at the authors (Toni Lopez) site.

Why is that ? As far as I can see, I have no problems using the version
available at Toni's site.

Can somebody please shed some light here ?
