You are quite right, Neil. I should have remembered that. It took me
a long time to find out why all my new bookmarks went missing after
every "make new hotlist". Fortunately PEDIT picked up the extra
(sometimes invisible in other editors) characters and allowed me to
delete them.
This is the mail reason why I moved over to using a hand-written
.HTM file as my main bookmark file for Arachne, and using the HOTLIST.HTM as
just a collecting bag.
