It's all very well and good to worry about getting newbies 'hooked on
Arachne.'

However, current users *should* be taken into consideration when updates
are issued.  I hate being forced to go through the entire installation
process [there still is no gracefull exit from install once you've
selected video mode] just to upgrade.  Yes, at present I run parallel --
keeping a working version while running a full install of the newest
version JIC -- but I have lots of HDD space still, and if I were a guy
I'd wear both belt & suspenders.  I shouldn't have to do a full install
and sit down and carefully compare each exe & bat & cfg to see if
something major has changed.

I see no reason why -- even if Michael doesn't want to put it up on the
website -- a zip file of each new release couldn't be put up on the
server and the direct URL sent to the list.  Everyone on the list uses
Arachne, right?
