I've been offline for a couple of days, so missed your query. In catching
up I saw your response to Edenyard and that is very helpful! I haven't
tried to install Printgfd.exe yet, but according to the .doc file "It prints
BMP, DCX, GIF, PCX, and PNG files on Epson and IBM 9 pin printers, Epson,
Fujitsu, IBM, NEC, and Toshiba 24 pin printers, Canon BJ, BJC, and LBP
printers, Epson Stylus, Fargo Primera, HI JetPro, HP LaserJet, DeskJet,
PaintJet, and HP-RTL devices, IBM ExecJet and LaserPrinter,
PostScript printers, and others." I have a Canon LBP, so that should work.
(It's shareware - so be sure to feed the kitty, folks.)
