Hello list,
just a short comment, how i got Arachne working for me on SuSE 7.0.
The problem was, that ./install echoed me:
"This version of Arachne requires libc-2.1 based system, sorry."
But SuSE 7.0 is based on the latest libc...
... so I typed "ldd arachne-svgalib" into my console-window.
The output showed: "missing svgalib .... blabla"
The final solution was to install the required library manually.
Hope, this helps other SuSE - fans,
and of course the other distro-fans.
