I see now what Clarence & Mike are talking about.
Michael, when we need [for whatever reason] an extra line on the screen,
we can simply go to full screen with SHIFT-8 * ...
The smaller menu bar was a bit tough to use at times, but the new "split
screen mode" is really a PAIN.
I would suggest going back to what it was in future versions.
