Please rethink that statement, or reword it "The Turbo-C ..." or
"Borland C++ ..."

A decent C programmer can turn out a program which will compile to be
nearly as neat and clean as assembler. A bold C programmer who knows
what functions his program will *not* need can even pare down and
individualize the libs that are included, bringing size down further and
function speed up.

Please don't confuse the "use the software to write the code" programmer
with the programer who knows how to write code and keep it clean.

Thank you ...

step ...
      step ...
            step ....    off my soapbox
