Hi gangue,
As rough as it is, sometimes it gets rougher. Tried the asf basic
script yesterday, the one for send and receive all mail, pop3 them
smtp then hangup.
Crunch! Machine locked up, modem locked up the salute of the tres
fingers required.
The error message was (and STILL is)
Memory allocation error - Illegal xSwap operation at line 1652 of
file HTML.c.!
Trying to deallocate xSwap...OK
Press any key to continue . . .
because the thing is still stuck in the self same "loop". I've
rebooted machine and modem, but still getting the same message as
above when I ask arachne to open from the c:\arachne prompt, i.e.
when I type in arachne for arachne.exe.
When I do "Press any Key", the machine then says
Abnormal Arachne termination, Reboot computer and/or restart Arachne
and then the whole thing starts all over agin when I do this.
Before I go deltree and clean it all out again and re-install
(where's that copy of 1.44, I liked that!), does anyone have any idea
for a fix on this ???

Oh BTW, win still works ok, and I can do some e-mail and so on (as
you can see by this, that was a stupid line! See Michael, it's
getting to me again, hee,hee,ho,ho,hah,hah)
