I believe Sam expressed an interest in VB for DOS. It's available from a site that was mentioned at Arachne Chat recently, along with some other interesting DOS software that could be described as abandonware. http://www.demense.freeserve.co.uk/dos/index.html My local library service has no trouble supplying textbooks for the earlier versions of Visual Basic.
