I have a stack of them here (old AOL CD, Compuserve, Earthlink, Juno,
etc.) and some of the software (i.e. IE or NS) is useable on any ISP
though they may be branded. It is a nice idea to have a local copy of
your browser available to save you from having to download again and
again. Also some of these CD's contain demo versions of other
software (Anti-Virus, etc.) that can be useful. I also have a stack
of HD disks that I removed from several 5 1/4" HDs that I intend to
use to make a wind chime. They have a nice tone when suspended freely
and struck as in a wind chime. Too many other things to do and not
enough time though.
