We are now recovering from 2 ice storms in the last 2 or 3 weeks,
here in Arkansas, USA. Still quite a bit of ice in the trees and on
power lines, and plenty of folks still without electricity since
Christmas night. It's snowing lightly as I write this.

We will spend this evening at our church's Watch Night service,
seeing the New Year in with fellowship, prayers, singing, preaching,
and certainly food and drink. I will wish all of my Arachne list
friends a Happy New Year and offer a prayer for you all.

My, God, isn't that the truth! The bloat part that is. I found it
much to slow on my P100 compared to IE5.0x. I will give them credit
for the download manager program that they use. I was disconnected
about halfway through the 15 or more files you need and was able to
logon to my pay ISP (I started downloading on a free ISP,
Bluelight.Com) and it picked up the download right where I left off.
Way kool. The Gecko HTML engine is open source and it is starting to
appear in other browsers without the Netscape/AOL bloat of V6. There
might be some good come from it in another browser incarnation.
