Odi's LFN Tools v1.60: These tools provide easy file management under
DOS with long filenames created by Win95/98 on FAT32, FAT16 and FAT12,
ISO-9660 and Joliet file systems (CD-ROM). They are a replacement for
the generic DOS commands (dir, cd, copy, ren, md, rd, del) but have
additional features. Very useful when repairing/restoring a Windows

MaxDIR is a DOS DIR Command alternative, presenting a directory of
files in a much nicer and more user friendly format, using a lot less
screen space. MaxDIR makes use of sorting, columns, and color in order
to assist you in a multitude of tasks which include dealing with the
brain clutter that occurs when typing DIR and pressing Enter.
By default, MaxDIR shows you a directory of files, alphabetized and
colored by file type, in 4 columns, utilizing the entire screen to show
you up to 200 files at a time. Since you'll know what the color is for
each file type, and you'll know they are alphabetized, you can look at
a directory and instantly find what you are looking for, in many cases,
even if you do not know the filename.
MaxDIR shows available drives, each file's size, the disk bytes free,
disk type, space used by the files listed (cluster consumption),
#files, #dirs, percentage of disk full, etc. It also allows several
command switches so that you can tailor your directory listing to what
you would like to see.
MaxDIR will work on anything that uses or emulates true DOS, including
MSDOS, PC-DOS, DR-DOS, Novell-DOS, OS/2, Win95/98/ME/NT/2000, Win3.1,
etc...

NBASM (NewBasic Assembler) v00.24.40 is a small, easy-to-use assembler
for MS-DOS and the Intel x86 processor(s). NBASM is used mostly for
learning assembly language programming. It assembles most instructions
up to and including the 80x286 instruction set. NBASM does have
support for the 32 bit registers and some of the 80x386 instructions,
however, the 32-bit support is currently in the build process.
With this in mind, this program is fully supported by the author. You
can report any bugs/errors/problems and/or make a comment about NBASM,
by responding to the address below. It comes with full documentation,
example code, and a small tutorial for learning to program with
assembly.

SA (Sector Access) allows you to copy/save (to a file) any disk
sector/s or any FAT (File Allocation Table). You can replace/restore
any disk sector/s or FAT, in the event that it becomes corrupted, using
the saved sector/s or FAT file. Note: A corrupt FAT will prevent you
from accessing files or accessing the correct file clusters, giving you
the impression that the file has been corrupted. You can view disk
sectors in hexadecimal or "raw" text mode. Note: You can also view a
file (three modes).
The sector can be a "physical" (head, track/cylinder, sector) or a
logical sector. SA allows you to restore/replace a corrupt (damaged)
MBR (Master Boot Record) in your hard drive/disk which may prevent you
from accessing your hard drive. SA will replace a corrupt floppy boot
or OS (Operating System) boot in the hard drive. Note: Restoring the
hard drive's MBR and/or OS boot sectors requires you to have a copy
(file) saved to a floppy as backup.
