Neil & Michael
OR
Michael & Neil ...

This backwards setup of InSight has been discussed many times before.
Any decent e-mail software should *default* to a "Reply To" e-dress when
answering.

I've seen mention that Arachne does not do this because then ALL the
Arachne List mail would automatically be sent responses to messages on
the list, and Michael doesn't want excess messages overburdening the
list server.

I find the above rationale to be =totally= invalid.

I know for a fact that majordomo software can be set up to:

** show the LIST as the FROM [which would be nice -- we could then sort
"personal" from "list" mail right at the index level], and

** the person who sent the message to the list can then be set up as the
   REPLY TO e-mail address.

This is what is normally done on most of the mailing lists I've
participated in. It makes sense, and removes any & all excuses for
having Arachne use a non-standard default of "FROM" in replying to all
e-mail.
