hi !
i´m a real newbie with arachne, very interested, but not too successful up
to now. i fear, that i lack some understanding of tcp/ip.
i would like to use arachne on a dos-machine with the ethernet-card. the
internet-connection is provided by a wingate-windows-pc with the fixed ip of
192.168.0.1.
the dos(6.22) pc has the fixed ip of 192.168.0.140
up to now i loaded: lsl, e100bodi (the ethernet-card-driver), tcpip
it is no problem to ping the wingate pc and no problem to be pinged.
but up to now i got no success when i tried to configure arachne.
my goal is to use arachne in our hospital, where i´m responsible for
computers (around 100 dos machines, diskless with a netware 3.12
server). but i have no real understanding of how tcp/ip works.
any ideas, help ?
