I've been trying not to be the first one to comment on Arachne 1.70 but I
can't contain myself anymore. <G>
There are goin to be a LOT of happy campers using this version.
The big Title bar and URL slot is back on the 640x480 screen !!
That's WAY more important to me and, I suspect, a few others, than CSS.
A1.70 installed effortlessly and all I did is copy over my old .cfg and .pck
ontop of the dummy install, and I was online. Too bad I was online with a
20Mhz '386, :(( but she was stable and surfed right away.
I tried the CSS at www.opera.com and the page does look better with CSS than
without, but it's not a big thing to me. I'm sure it's a good start down the
js trail. It seems the CSS has cost about 2k in free DOS memory, but Michael
has given back more than 2k in the past few versions so we'll still be ahead.
More news later when I get on the P90 at home.
I'm allocating space on my HD for THIS version !
