(from Neil Parks, and here I won't add '>' to the beginning of each line):
http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/software/ios120/relnote/xprn120/120reqs.htm#xtocid143983#xtocid143983#xtocid143
83
(The length of the URL from "http" to the end is 131 characters. If for
some reason it doesn't get through the email properly, paste the following
pieces together:)
http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/software/ios120/relnote
/xprn120/120reqs.htm#xtocid143983#xtocid143983#xtocid143983
(end of quote)
I counted 130 characters, not 131. First attempt was broken after 127 with the
128th character missing. Does this happen on receiving, or sending only? I get
email messages with lines far > 128 characters intact, can and sometimes do send
them that way too, though not with Arachne. For copy-and-paste purposes, it's
best to keep URLs on one line (SMTP client permitting).
