Clarence,

You offered a number of alternatives. For me a clearing of the cache
from my startup batch file would work fine, because I'd be double darn
sure of path statements and KILL commands.

But I was thinking more in the line of a simple "add on" that would use
Arachne's internal pathing to get to cache, and then take the individual
to whatever startup location they normally use. So I guess the best bet
is similar to your asf file? Thing is, I don't have a dial page ... nor
does anyone who is attached to a LAN.

Maybe a new page could be included in a "clear cache on startup" group,
a nice clean htp page that had a message that "cache has cleared ...
hit one of the following hotkeys to do what you want" ???

Maybe we can get some feedback from other persons ... including Kali?

l.d.
P.S. I haven't given *up* experimenting ... I'm simply involved in an
on-going one right now and don't need to keep any more things straight
in my mind than what's already stuff in there. <G>
