It displayed automatically for me too with version 1.70. It
just failed to be rendered correctly from within the Arachne
mailer with all its sparkling and exploding animations. It
appeared only as a little multicolored square inside of a
larger black square. When accessed as a local file by using
F3 and typing in the full path name of the file on the address
bar, Arachne went and got it and dislayed it correctly.
