I tried some CTMOUSE versions for serial mice. They did not work.
An old CTMOUSE version programmed specifically for use with a PS/2 mouse
did work. I didn't know that a version 1.8 was out. Thanks for telling
me about it. I'll download it and try it.

Yes, true; however, I have no spare serial port. One serial port must be
used for the external modem. The other port is a built-in serial IR device.
BTW, has anyone ever heard of any external modems that will work with a
serial IR port?
