Hum, I've been using FW for a few months now with no problem. 
 I wonder if it has something to do with installing it on a ramdisk(?).  
Actually, I have had a problem with it, but it is purely aesthetics.  
The screen seems to flicker quite a bit, but that might be caused 
by my video card or the Cutemouse driver.  But otherwise I really
like the program and use it quite a bit.  I esp. like the way it handles
compressed files.
