#1 worked great... 6 tries-in-a-row. :)
#2 work the the first try.....
second try resulted in runaway D/L, crash, restart.

The key combination that caused it was 'M', Cntr+leftArrow, 'R', 'M'
(so, don't do that) <vbg>
