It is not surprising that tere are no alternatives to default disk caching in Windows 95. In good OS, like Linux, caching is implemented in kernel, so there is no need to load special driver ;-) It is not surprising, that Windows 9x are trying to imitate what was always part of good OSes, especially those Unix-derived, for decades.
