I used to have a copy of Lightening CD, but the last time I moved,
the CD somehow got broken. I had bought it in a bundle-like pack
that had 4 other CDs with it for $3 from one of them dollar-like stores.
I really wish that I had it back because I would like to give it another
whirl. I don't remember having any problems with it when I did run it.
Also, I know probably about a year and a half ago, the president of Lucid
contacted the owner of the Calmira Tips/Win3.1 list about selling off some
of the copies of Lightening that they had since they couldn't get rid of
them anymore since they don't work with Win95. I don't remember any
of the details though.
Now another question. Could somebody recommend a good time setting
program for DOS or Win3.1? I'm talking about a program that will dial into
one of the national time clocks and set your computer to that time. I have
Wtime for Windows but it times out before doing anything. I would really
like one that works in DOS using my current Internet connection, but would
settle for one that dials a long distance number since it only takes a minute
or so to get the time.
I know I used to have a program in DOS that worked quite well, but now I
can't find it.
Thanks,
Matt
