Friends:
I will be "off the air" for sending/receiving email for a while
until I can get my DOS-based browser, Arachne, to communicate with
my internet service provider. When I return, I may have a different
email address.
Arachne, is available free from Arachne Labs in the Czech
Republic (www.arachne.cz) and runs under DOS. Documentation is
well-written and in English. By using Arachne, I don't have to
inflict Microsoft's Windows on my computer to browse the Internet.
Furthermore, Arachne is a full-featured browser which makes very
modest demands on my computer, taking up only about two megabytes
of disk space.
I'm sorry to leave you all. I promise you I'll work hard to
get back on the air and -- when I do -- I'll let you all know
that I'm back.
