   I have got some examples of animated JPEG.  They are called MPEG.

   Somewhere, among my graphics progs. - I cannot remember which - is
one that transfers the GIF to another format, THEN decompresses it. This
approach does not use the LZW decompression, and should make GIF viewing
unchargeable at least.
   I just can't find which one. And I was just reading it recently.  :(
