I know you thought I had posted a fix for this, but I don't recall it.
So, from this leaky brain comes a suggestion based on first principles:
CD\Arachne
Del lock
Del ppp.log
Del history.lst
The real problem, I think, is that Arachne ignores it's own ARACHNENOCACHE
commands, or else NOCACHE should really be NOHISTORY. I think you have
the error page in the history.lst and since that is the last place you
were, that page keeps getting loaded even tho there is no error. :((
