On a similar note, I received and advertising packet from a software
company named Rational ... selling a new hyperwonderfuldoitallofcourse
website design/maintenance package. So what did I do? I went to their
website and took a look at the code.

I must admit that, for something so javascript riddled, it was a fairly
decent & workable page. The code was rather clean [surprise!!] and
lacked all that jsnit boilerplate that so many sites don't have the
sense to clean out ... but guess what, folx ... There was no META for
"Generator" so I wonder if the site was written by the software being
sold?? And, although Arachne can now handle much CSS out there, I
didn't get a chance to test it because the site was scripted to do "this
for NS, that for IE, or no style sheet applicable" ...

Needless to say, I wrote the webmaster via the feedback/comments page.
While I was at it I commented about how the feedback text area should be
a bit larger with wordwrap enabled so people could see what they were
writing and the lines wouldn't be cut by the underlying OS at whatever
length it felt like. <sound familiar?? <G>>

Will I hear back ??? That *is* the question, eh?
