No, I would *not* consider it a bug.
R means "reload page" ... and that is precisely what Arachne is doing.
Instead of leaving Arachne to edit the page/file, do it internally with
F-4 whenever possible. Then when you hit F-2 or click on "save & view"
the amended page will be shown.
You need to remember that R does not mean "re-read" or "read it again"
it means "reload" as in "download another copy of ..."
Using R will guarantee that any file in cache will be ignored.
There is another way to handle this too, if the page is 'long lines' and
can't be viewed/modified with the internal editor ... [or if you are
personally working on the page and making changes you want to see each
time you you've made a change] ... Go to the page file itself, using
desktop [F-10] and once it is displayed, shell out of Arachne to edit
it. When you return to Arachne with 'exit' you will see the page as you
have modified it. There is no "caching" when you are viewing pages this
way, so newest version is always displayed. This is how I edit & check
the pages for my website.
