Hi Folks,
          Following my original post,

This site confines itself to freeware and no-nag shareware, so that
is probably OK.

I checked it out. It does link to the main Arachne site - it is NOT
on their server. So a click on the link would take them to Michaels
entry page.

What Or suggested is correct. They have combined DOS and Win 3.1
on the same listing pages.

I agree with you here, L.D., and I was disappointed that they hadn't
run the try-out properly, including going on-line. This is unusual for
this site. But they did rate it with five (5) doves, their highest
approval rating.

Not necessarily. It will give Arachne a wider exposure. It is a
heavily visited site. And the guy who runs it, a fellow Australian, is
usually pretty scrupulous about his ethics, being heavily into Christian
and Bible related software. I honestly believe that he will be pleased
to amend his blurb if some one would take the trouble to inform him.

   Michael ?

Would be a good idea to make contact - this guy is also in the
business of releasing (at relatively low cost) CDs of the software he
has collected or linked to. It would be an idea to make sure that any
release is done with Michael's full knowledge and approval.

I have used this site, and its links, extensively, and I am very
comfortable with the general approach of the guy that runs it - even if
I am a heathen. :)

Regards,
        Ron
