Clarence, It may be a bug. What you were trying to say is that the pseudo-html for the "about" page has an ARACHNE MSG in it [welcome....] that does not display on the status line. I went, I looked, I decided to look elsewhere. Went to arachne page that the X-I symbol links to, and after loading it had the ARACHNE MSG displayed on the status line. I checked the code, how the tag was written and where it was in the page, and went back to "about" ... They differed. So I tried moving the ARACHNE MSG around in the page of code, and nothing seemed to work. Went back to the website page, checked code again, and then looked at status bar. There was no ARACHNE MSG displayed on the status bar! I tried reloading the entire page [too many graphics, too slow a server] and *still* there was no message on status line. Moved cursor to the toolbar and then into "neutral territory" and I suddenly realized "HEY! The status line Arachne Message is Back!!" [Why did I do that in the first place? I dunno ... maybe thinking and "twiddling the mouse" instead of my fingers??] I went back to "about" ... no message on status line. Moved cursor to toolbar and then to neutral territory, and guess what ... the "Welcome to Arachne ..." message was displayed on the status line! I'm cc'ing to bugs l.d. ==== On Sat, 24 Feb 2001 18:07:12 -0500, Clarence Verge wrote: > L.D.
