IMHO there should be a law against making programs that care about case.
Programs that change case when running other programs are also bad (a well
known browser does this, or well known here anyway <g>).
I really hate that Windows and Linux (and probably others as well) assume
that files that lack case (ie. when reading FAT12/16 drives) have upper
case. This isn't actually wrong (since they actually are in upper case),
but there's a reason why we don't write in CAPS all the time - it doesn't
look good. Assuming low case would make it look better. Besides, I've
always thought of my files as lower case anyway.
