    Australia is watching with some dismay.  I don't think we have ever
had a real foot and mouth outbreak in Oz - our quarantine restrictions
are about the tightest in the world and its times like these that bring
it all to mind.
To Canada: No, we really don't want your salmon products, and
To New Zealand: We really don't want your apples and pears.
    And anybody trying to bring in meat products from the UK and now the
EU is likely to get lynched.

    But our farmers and anybody with any sense are worried that someone
somewhere will do something totally stupid and bring it in.

    We Arachnians are wary of the odd computer virus, but what Mel is
talking about is the real McCoy !
