A question from a new list-member:
I have an older laptop, which I want to use together with a mobile
phone Siemens C35i. I can connect to the internet using NewDeal
Office and Windows for Workgroups, using the same hardware. But I
don't succeed with Arachne ("ppp-link down, no IP-address", or
similar). Arachne works very good with V90-modem at COM1, but not
with mobile phone at the same port. All three systems use the same
parameters and the same provider. Any ideas?
(Caldera DR-DOS 7.03, DPMI on, 486sx33, 4 MB RAM)
