Hello Michael, All; In continued messing around with frames, I have found that A1.70 treats a single line of text in a frame of very low height MUCH differently than A1.62 and A1.66. Regardless of the frame height in 1.62 and 66 - even only 1/2 the height of the text characters - the part of the characters that fit in the frame are displayed. i.e. the upper 1/2 of the characters in the example. This is GOOD. In A1.70, unless the frame is 20 pixels or greater high, NOTHING displays. This is BAD. ;-) - Clarence Verge - Back to using Arachne V1.62 ....
