Create a free mailbox on http://mailandnews.com . (You may have to use a different browser.) Turn cookies off, log on to your new mailbox and click the "create" button to compose a new msg. Fill in the appropriate fields, write the msg, and click the "send" button. Check your "Outbox/sent" folder. Is there a copy there? Did the recipient ever receive the msg? Now do the same procedure with another browser. (I used Lynx on a Linux.) How many msgs do you see in the outbox/sent folder now? (In my case, the one sent from Lynx was there, and the one supposedly sent from Arachne was not.) Try another test. The owner of Mailandnews.com is Infinite Technologies. It has a web site at http://www.infinite.com . Go into the newsgroups. (In lynx you get there by way of the "toolbar" frame.) Try to post a test msg to the newsgroup.
