Hi,

The other day I recieved my long awaited Psion Revo Plus. A truly impressive
little machine. Somehow I got the feeling of typing on a ZX 81 or a
Spectrum, and today I found a Spectrum emulator for it. So I've had some fun
playing good old games like Penetrator and Hungry Horace on it :-)

Now, when can we expect Arachne for EPOC ?

Dear List:

The site in here looks really good for download, especially for
folks who monitors are almost ancient {is this me?} because of the large
HTML. Haven't decided about the LFN-DOS utility or some of the other
things. For me, more may not be better. I have my hand full with the
stuff I got already. I did take the time to download the Open World
Navigator, an offline HTML viewer. Maybe just a curio, sort of, but
sort of a nice alternative viewer. Tried it with only text, no graphics
yet. I'm not sure about more file managers in DOS. Norton Desktop 1.0
seems pretty good, BTW, and I don't know if the long filenames are that
important since I am not currently running Windoze 95. Always good to
read the list although I think I am maybe going back to the habit of
reading it every other day, etc. View by Mr. Drury was impressive for
me, mainly because I did not think it was possible for Word>>>ASCII-2
conversion. Works good for me. I rather think Linux is better for
embedded documents, etc. BTW, happy Easter to all, Michael, Clarence,
Sam H. and Sam E., and also many others, also Mel in Scotland. It is
cool but dry here in the Pacific Northwest on this Good Friday. Laters..

Thomas Tabler

Subject: Local IP and DNS numbers

Hi folks,

is there any way to find out the local IP address and the DNS numbers
used by Arachne when she's configured with CONNECTION READY and BOOTP?

Regards Joerg
