Hello All,
Been a while since I looked at the program or the list, and straight
away I run into trouble! Downloaded 1.69, and set it up from scratch in
a separate directory, so it wouldn't pollute the existing 1.50.
I can see a few improvements, **But** when I try to load my ISP's
homepage,
<www.clear.net.nz>
it loads the first part of the page, then gets stuck when it asks fro
the background GIF. The bottom line tells me'connected to (site info)
requesting image (Blah, Blah) and there it sticks, with the logo
animating away like mad, as if something is being downloaded, but
nothing happens! 1.50 handles it just fine. I am running on a 6x86 box
with W95 OS Any suggestions, or do I stick to 1.50? From reading a few
days' worth of Digests, it seems 1.70 still has a problem or two, as
well.
