I've had exactly the same for a couple of secondary ISPs I wanted
to set up. On both occasions emailing tech support up to half a
dozen times (stating what you've seen, as below) got the problem
fixed, but no actual reply. I guess there's a section in their manual
for dealing with retrogrades. It might help to say you're using "the
dialer that comes with IE5 for Win3.1" to put them in territory as
familiar as possible.
