Dear Andy:
I have both analog and digital lines here, but something happened
to the digital one, so I use the old analog one. Your info on your
ISP reminds me of the differences that some of the ISP's have with
others. This one has prompts too for username and password, but
I have been largely unsuccessful recently in automating the process.
So I still have to do login manually. My ISP uses PAP protocol. As far
as I know, it was designed to use a Unix/Linux style server, and also
it was not an old BBS that "upgraded" to the Internet. Someone told
me that they are just hoping to get "bought out" by the big boys {AT&T
Qwest, or Earthlink?}
