et al,

Seek's query to Bernie about using Eudora...

l.d.'s recent struggle to get her cable connection up an running...

my recent struggle to get one (plus many additional) clients up
and running on a recalcitant ISP...

These all illustrate the diversity of software/hardware/connections
we are dealing with. I don't know a simple (simplistic..?) answer
to these things. BUT, I do know, that, while Winzz appears to be
handling these all in its stride, this is NOT so...W9x is a very
heavy cottage-industry for me, and could be very lucrative, if I
wanted to exploit it. Winzzz (and other OSs) has probably as
many problems as DOS/Arachne...it's just that there are more
people working on them, so they get solved quicker...and...some
things (e.g. multitasking) are IMPOSSIBLE in DOS...

We should keep reminding ourselves of this...so we don't get
frustrated with people struggling to fix something we can't even
really understand, since WE don't have THAT problem...<g g g g>

.....gregy
