Hello Laurie:
You could use the DOS SORT utility to sort the URL addresses in the
hotlist in alphabetical order. I don't think that is what you would
want to do. It would be nice if we could use the SORT utility to sort
the title of the URLs in alphabetical order. Unfortunately we can't do
that because the titles do not all begin in the same column. If you
want to sort your hotlist the way you want, then I think you will have
to do it manually by using a text editor. This is a tedious and time
consuming chore.
There is no need to have your hotlist sorted in any special way in order
to quickly find a particular entry. While viewing your hotlist just
press F7 and enter the search word or phrase. Then Arachne will
instantly highlight the hotlist entry containing the search term.
Because of Arachne's excellent built-in search feature which I can invoke
simply by pressing F7, I find absolutely no need to sort my hotlist.
