Netscape 3.04 uses libc5 and works well with 
Slackware 3.x.  If you want to use it with
Slackware 7.x (which has glibc2), you will
need to install the older libraries.  Or,
alternatively, if you are using an old PC, 
you might consider installing Slackware 3.x 
(which works well on old hardware).
