Would someone, with a bit more Linux under their belt than what I can
claim [I have a 'DOS version' on my HDD I've never booted to] like to
set this buy straight?  He's speaking from somewhere other than where
Linux is these days.  Sheesh!  He's a dozerware dozer, eh??
