Of course it is possible. Instead of using DIRTEL for its intended
purpose of producing a name and address database, you may just as
well use the program for producing a hotlist, being an HTM file
automatically sorted in alphabetical order.
To use DIRTEL to produce a hotlist just create a database file named
HOTLIST.DBF. On the "name" field input the title of the web page.
On the "internet" field input the URL. Then you can use the built-in
converter to produce a file named HOTLIST.HTM. If you want the list
to be sorted by some method other than alphabetical by title, you
could preface whatever you input into the name field by a number
indicating its degree of "hotness".
I just tried this. It works!
