RC>Some of us have overcome such a problem by writing our own
  RC>BOOKMARK file as a separate .HTML file, and set up Arachne
  RC>to go to it by pressing one of the configurable hotkeys.

An even neater extension to that is to use the Arachne Hotlist
as the Index into various "hotlist" files.

In my Arachne Hotlist I have entries for Shareware Sites, Music,
News, Electronics, etc. Each main entry calls that particular
list. For example:

<TITLE>Arachne Hotlist</TITLE>
<H1>Arachne <I><FONT COLOR="#FF0000">Hotlist</FONT></I></H1>
<HR SIZE=6>
<LI><A HREF="file:c:\arachne\hotshare.htm">Shareware Sites</A>
<LI><A HREF="file:c:\arachne\hotseek.htm">Search Engines</A>
<LI><A HREF="file:c:\arachne\hotelect.htm">Electronic Sites</A>
<LI><A HREF="file:c:\arachne\hotmusic.htm">Music Sites</A>
<LI><A HREF="file:c:\arachne\hotphone.htm">Phone Stuff</A>
<LI><A HREF="file:c:\arachne\hotcar.htm">Car Stuff</A>
<LI><A HREF="file:c:\arachne\hotnews.htm">News Sites</A>
<HR>
<LI><A HREF="http://www.polonez.freeserve.co.uk/ntreader/";>NTReader Home Page</A>
<LI><A HREF="http://www.nettamer.net/";>Net-Tamer Home Page!</A>
<LI><A HREF="http://blkbox.com/~bgfax/";>BGFAX Home Page</A>
<LI><A HREF="http://www.four11.com";>Email Address Search</A>
<LI><A HREF="http://www.bt.com/phonenetuk/";>UK online phone directory</A>
<LI><A HREF="http://www.royalmail.co.uk/paf/";>Royal Mail Postcodes</A>
<LI><A HREF="http://www.brainstorm.co.uk/utils/postcodes.html";>UK Postcodes</A>

When I Bookmark a site, it goes to the end of the main hotlist and
I manually move it to the appropriate list. I reserve the main list
for the most frequently-visited sites.
