Some time ago, the problem of getting "Arachne Load Error" was
raised here. I can't remember if this was addressed/solved.
..BUT...here is what I found, and recently straightened out:
1. I have my mail pointed to F: - a HDD..
2. I have four(4) mail accounts. I have them all pointed to a
....subdirectory/subdirectory/etc tree on F:
3. EXAMPLE - I had F:\arrmail\ahiline1\arachne
.......................................\archive
.......................................\digest
.......................................\etcetera
4. I was getting "Arachne Load Error" when I clicked MAIL FOLDERS,
....then ARACHNE or ARCHIVE.
5. I shortened ARACHNE to ARACH and ARCHIVE to ARCHV.
6. This cured the problem.
7. I recently made some more folders and got the same "Arachne
....Load Error"...this was getting irritating..so..
8. I shortened my paths to - F:\armail\ahi1\etcetera
9. This cured the problems...
I believe this is caused by Insight not being able to handle too
long a path. Is this right...??
I apologize for dredging this up again, if it has already been
thoroughly address and resolved..
