DR-DOS 7.03 has DOSBOOK instead of "help", you can navigate through a whole on-disk manual if you like, or get help on one item if desired. MS-DOS 6.22 has HELP. OS/2 has an on-disk reference accessible with VIEW, as view desired-command start /pm view desired-command or the on-disk reference/Assistance Center can be accessed from the Workplace Shell (graphical desktop).
