You most assuredly might be right about that!

One more question:
When one is accessing a web page by using MSIE 6.0 and with the
"Smart Tag" rendering feature activated, is the user presented with a
warning message or a disclaimer stating something to the effect that
"Internet Explorer has dynamically modified certain links on this web
page with a view toward providing you with better guidance. It is in
the interests of MicroSoft that you visit these links instead of
the ones recommended by the web page author."?
Every one knows that, without the author's permission, it is wrong for
one to alter the content of something that someone else has written
unless the editor should indicate by brackets or footnotes, or by some
other technique so as to alert the reader as to what parts of the
source document the editor has seen fit to modify. Anyone who would
malign another by resorting to deliberately misquoting someone in a
scurrilous and capricious manner so as to cause harm could find himself
in court to answer to libel charges. If a student should get caught
resorting to such scandalous editing of sources cited in a term paper
he would likely be expelled for honor code violations. Also he would
be condemned by his peers for his lack of intellectual and academic
integrity. With credentials like that he might get offered a top job
at MicroSoft!
